ULFUR Ceramic Flat Bowl – Bronze to Black, Ø35 cm

The ULFUR flat bowl is a reinterpretation of one of the most ancient ceramic forms — the deep plate — taken to its logical extreme. Wide, shallow, and perfectly circular, it is an object that exists somewhere between vessel and sculpture. Its presence on a table is immediate and unhurried.

At Ø35 cm and just 6 cm high, it has the proportions of a full moon — a form that draws the eye and holds it. The interior glaze transitions from a warm, luminous bronze at the centre to a deep matte black at the rim, a gradient that shifts with the light and gives the piece a quiet, meditative depth. Use it as a centrepiece on a dining table, a display surface for a few stones or dried stems, or simply as an object in its own right.

The finish is the result of over a year of research and development. A mineral glaze with natural ore is applied to high-quality Chinese tea ceramic and fired at 1360°C. No two pieces are identical.
