Hou Floor Vase – Antique Beige Metal

Some objects earn their place in a room simply by being present. The Hou floor vase is one of them. Its tall, cylindrical form — 78.5 cm of quietly commanding presence — works as a standalone sculptural piece or as a vessel for long stems, dried grasses, or pampas. Either way, it anchors a corner, an entryway, or a living room with an ease that only well-proportioned objects can manage.

The antique beige finish is achieved through a heavily textured, pitted surface treatment that gives the metal a raw, almost mineral quality — somewhere between aged plaster and weathered stone. The narrow opening at the top keeps the focus on the vessel itself rather than whatever is placed inside it.

Handcrafted in India for House Nordic. The texture and patina will vary slightly between pieces, which is part of the character of the object.
