Its base is a solid cylinder of hand-formed paper-mâché in a warm brown mud tone — rough, pitted, and quietly monumental. The surface carries the marks of its making: an organic texture that shifts between sandy and earthy depending on the light. On top, a tall cylindrical linen shade in natural off-white sits flush with the base, the two forms stacking into a single vertical column that reads as sculpture as much as lamp.
